(transfer of information) is primary. Communication cannot be over emphasized,
especially when offshore, even though a lot of our communications are to an
answering machine in the form of a monologue (Remember Johnny Carson?).

sometimes they forget). Reiterate phone numbers, vessel names, location and
tasks. Follow up with progress reports and planned work for the next 24
hours on the forms you are provided with. |

Follow up calls: Reiterate and give progress report and planned works for
the next 24 hours. Include any other information that may be important or
informative, I.E., equipment breakdowns, safety info., weather, work
practices, safety concerns, pollution, etc. |
Demobilization:
Reiterate Who, What, When, Why, Where, and How.
