Assure
that all personnel is trained in the work practices necessary to
perform his job

that all personnel is instructed in the known potential fire,
explosion, or toxic release hazards related to his job and the
process and the applicable provisions of the emergency action plan

Document
that all personnel has received and understands the required
training
|

Prepare
a record which contains the identity of all personnel, training
dates, and the means used to verify that personnel understands the
training

Ask the
client to provide all MSDS as needed
|

Require
all personnel to abide by MMI’s and client’s safety work
practices during operations such as lockout/tagout, confined space
entry, etc.

Respect
the confidentiality of trade secret information when the process
safety information is released
|
 |
Have
open communication with personnel to discuss any unique hazards
presented by work;
|
 |
Require
permits to be obtained prior to all hot work
 |
Permit
shall document the provisions of CFR 1910.252(a)
|

 |
Require
immediate reporting of all accidents, injuries, and near misses
 |
An accident
investigation must be initiated within 48 hours.
Resolutions and corrective actions must be documented and
maintained for 5 years. |
